The next workshop will be Wednesday, November 15th from 7pm to 9pm. 

Topic“Interpreting Psycho-educational Testing Reports” with Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Rachna Varia, PhD.  During this informative presentation, Dr. Varia, Director of Testing and Diagnostics for MindWell Psychology, will review which cognitive and academic areas a full evaluation should include.  In addition, she will review these assessments in detail and explain how parents should interpret test scores for a student who has signs or symptoms of dyslexia. Dr. Varia’s presentation will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.

ALLY Advocacy Center has partnered with Decoding Dyslexia and will be cohosting monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month in ALLY Advocacy Center from 7pm-9pm.

WHAT:   Monthly series of speakers and discussion, aiming to raise dyslexia awareness and   empower families to support their   children with dyslexia.

Volunteer Orientation June 19th

Interested in volunteering for The Arc of Loudoun on Paxton Campus? Then come to our VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION, on Monday, June 19th from 6:30-8:00pm in ALLY Advocacy Center. 

At the orientation you’ll tour the campus, learn about the different 2017 volunteer opportunities, and learn more about Paxton’s mission and various programs!
