Job Title: Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Reports to: The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is evaluated by and reports directly to the Chief Development Officer.

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree required

Summary: The Marketing and Communications Coordinator shares the story and impact of The Arc of Loudoun in the lives of people with disabilities and their families to the constituents we serve, our volunteers, supporters, and the community at large.  The Coordinator is responsible for implementing a unified marketing and communications plan for the organization. This includes managing the marketing and communications needs and expanding the relationships with our organization’s stakeholders including people with disabilities and their families, members, volunteers, donors, self-advocates, staff, and the Loudoun County/Greater Washington DC community. The Coordinator will also provide graphic design support to the direct service programs, and assist in coordinating and marketing organizational events.  The Coordinator will implement the marketing and communications objectives set by the Chief Development Officer to ensure the organization’s overall effectiveness.

Job Title: ABA Instructor

Reports to: Support Staff assigned to his or her lead student, the Program Director, and the Director of The Aurora School

Education: High School diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, speech, or other related field preferred

Summary: Provide instruction that is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Verbal Behavior. The Aurora School is a 12-month day program that provides a collaborative and innovative learning environment for students for students 5-22 years of ages with Autism and other developmental abilities.

Program: The Aurora School

Education: Master’s Degree in Special Education, Certification/License: BCBA or BCaBA, recommended; VA License as Behavior Analysis or Assistant Behavior Analysis (through the VA Department of Medicine).

Summary: Providing leadership and organizational management in the following areas: student educational programming; behavior interventions; staff development; classroom management; and parent trainings.

Job Title: Administrative Director of The Aurora School

Program: The Aurora School

Education: Master’s Degree in Special Education, or Master Level Administrative Experience

Summary: Providing leadership and organizational management in the following areas: student educational programming; human resources management; and staff development.  Reports to Director of Clinical Services for the Arc of Loudoun.
